Artists Play With Time released 20 records in the last 24 months. 23 of the 23 artists released in that window had not appeared on the label before.
The project Artists Play with Time began in 2022, initiated by artist Ingrid Ene in collaboration with sound artist Dyslex. At its core was a sound installation made of thirty old clocks, connected through contact microphones, transforming the mechanical ticking into a malleable sonic material. This soundscape could be combined with voice, integrated into musical instruments, or shaped into new compositions. The installation was placed in the hands of other artists through open calls and artistic residencies in Cluj-Napoca, Oradea, and Bucharest. Each participant was invited to create their
