Join the BeatScore DJ Pool for free and discover new and unreleased music matched to your sound. Help build a smarter DJ community for artists, labels and DJs.
The traditional DJ pool model is simple: labels and artists send music, DJs browse through large lists of tracks, and hopefully the right music reaches the right person.
BeatScore wants to take that much further.
We are building an advanced DJ pool around one simple idea:
**DJs should receive music that actually fits what they play.**
Instead of flooding DJs with hundreds of irrelevant promos, BeatScore will use music intelligence, Track DNA and DJ preferences to create a more relevant connection between producers, labels and DJs.
And while we build it, we are looking for DJs who want to join the community from the beginning.
**DJ registration will be free.**
Every DJ has a different sound.
One DJ may play peak-time Tech House around 128 BPM. Another may focus on melodic progressive music. Someone else may specialize in underground Drum & Bass or high-energy Techno.
Yet many promo systems still treat every DJ almost the same.
BeatScore is designed differently.
Tracks uploaded to the platform can be analyzed to understand characteristics such as genre, BPM, energy, arrangement and other musical attributes.
That creates a Track DNA.
Over time, DJs can build their own DJ DNA based on the music they prefer, listen to, download and support.
The result is a smarter promo experience:
**Track DNA meets DJ DNA.**
Instead of asking DJs to search through everything, BeatScore can help surface the releases that are most relevant to them.
The BeatScore DJ Pool will focus heavily on new, upcoming and promotional music.
DJs will be able to discover tracks from:
- independent producers - emerging artists - established artists - record labels - upcoming releases - pre-release promotional campaigns
For DJs, this means access to music before it reaches the wider market.
For producers and labels, it means their tracks can reach DJs who genuinely play that style.
The goal is not simply to send more promos.
The goal is to create **better matches**.
BeatScore is not just building a download portal.
We want to build a community where DJ behaviour and feedback help create better music intelligence.
When listening to a promo, DJs may be able to give quick feedback such as:
**Would you play this track?**
Yes. Maybe. No.
Additional feedback can include areas such as club impact, production quality, energy and originality.
This creates valuable information for producers and labels, while keeping the DJ experience fast and simple.
No twenty-question surveys.
Just useful feedback from people who actually play music.
Imagine a producer finishing a new track.
The music has not been released yet.
Instead of blindly sending it to hundreds of people, BeatScore can introduce it to a smaller group of DJs whose profile matches the track.
If those DJs listen, download and support the record, the producer gets real information before or during the release campaign.
For example:
> 34 relevant DJs listened
21 downloaded 18 said they would play it
That is much more meaningful than simply saying a promotional email was sent to 5,000 addresses.
It also gives DJs a direct role in discovering promising new music.
As the BeatScore community grows, the DJ Pool can become increasingly personalized.
A DJ who consistently interacts with high-energy Tech House should see more of that music.
A DJ who regularly skips vocal records should not constantly receive vocal-heavy promos.
A Drum & Bass DJ should not have to dig through hundreds of House releases.
The longer a DJ uses BeatScore, the better the platform should become at understanding what music belongs in their feed.
That means less searching and more discovering.
DJ activity can also help power future **BeatScore Promo Charts**.
Instead of ranking music only through streams or popularity, BeatScore can use qualified promotional signals such as:
- DJ listens - downloads - favorites - positive feedback - would-play responses - verified DJ support - confirmed plays
This could make it possible to identify tracks that are generating genuine DJ momentum before they become widely known.
For DJs, that means another way to discover new music early.
For producers and labels, it creates a clearer picture of how their release is performing within the professional DJ community.
DJs who join the BeatScore community can help shape the platform while gaining access to a new way of discovering promotional music.
The vision includes:
- free DJ membership - access to new and unreleased music - personalized promo recommendations - relevant tracks instead of mass mailings - direct interaction with artists and labels - quick feedback tools - DJ profile and preference matching - future promo charts and discovery features
And because we are building the community from the ground up, early DJs will play an important role in deciding what works and what should improve.
BeatScore is being built as more than a DJ pool.
The wider platform combines:
**Track Analysis** Understanding the technical and musical characteristics of a track.
**Label Intelligence** Finding record labels that genuinely fit the music.
**DJ Testing** Getting feedback from relevant DJs.
**Targeted Promotion** Sending music to the right audience.
**Promo Intelligence** Measuring what happens after DJs hear the track.
This creates a continuous connection:
**Producer โ Label โ DJ โ Audience**
And the data generated along the way can help everyone make better decisions.
We are currently building the BeatScore DJ community and are looking for DJs across electronic music genres who want to be part of the platform from an early stage.
